Evangelist Deta O. Miller

Her mission work has taken her across the globe.

Evangelist Deta O. Miller was licensed and ordained as an evangelist at Transfiguration Baptist Church in Nassau, The Bahamas, under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Garnet King.

In March 2010, she relocated to Long Island, where she served at Palestine Baptist Church alongside Pastor James Bain. Today, she resides in British Columbia, Canada, serving as a missionary at Word of Life Church, led by Pastor Delson Monteiro.

Evangelist Miller holds academic training in Social Work from The College of The Bahamas, Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Everywhere she goes, she carries a heart for people & a message of hope.

From 2001 to 2004, she attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where she completed her ministerial training and earned certificates in both Evangelism and Missions.

With a ministry spanning nearly four decades, Evangelist Miller has been active in missions and evangelistic outreach since 1985, sharing the Gospel both nationally and internationally. Her extensive work includes organizing crusades, leading street evangelism, facilitating conference workshops, and ministering in churches, prisons, hospitals, and youth groups.

Her mission work has taken her across the globe - to South Africa, Swaziland, the Philippines, Brazil, Guyana, Mexico, and many Caribbean islands, including Jamaica, Haiti, Grenada, and the Dominican Republic - as well as throughout The Bahamas in islands such as Inagua, Cat Island, Long Island, Andros, and Abaco.

For two years, she also hosted her radio program, On Kingdom Business, which aired monthly throughout The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands, spreading a message of faith, empowerment, and Kingdom purpose. Everywhere she goes, Evangelist Miller carries a heart for people and a message of hope - that God’s grace is sufficient, His promises are sure, and His love can reach every soul.
